Terms of Service
Last updated: April 9, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of dotqr and related websites, applications, and services (the “Service”) operated by us (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and meet any minimum age requirements applicable in your region. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. The Service
We provide tools to create and manage QR experiences, landing pages, analytics, and related features as described on the Service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features; we will try to give reasonable notice for changes that materially affect paid plans where practicable.
3. Accounts and security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, discriminatory, or harmful purposes.
- Distribute malware, phish, spoof brands, or mislead end users about the destination or sponsor of a QR code.
- Attempt to probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without authorization, or interfere with the Service or other users.
- Copy, resell, or redistribute the Service except as expressly allowed.
- Use the Service to violate intellectual property, privacy, or third-party rights.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display your content solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service. You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this license and that your content complies with law and these Terms.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including software, design, and branding (excluding your content), is owned by us or our licensors. No rights are granted except the limited right to use the Service according to these Terms.
7. Plans, credits, and payments
Free and paid offerings (including credits and subscriptions) are described in the Service. Fees, taxes, renewal terms, and refund rules depend on the checkout flow and third-party processors we use. Failure to pay may result in downgrade or loss of paid features. Credit balances and plan limits are governed by the product rules shown in your account.
8. Third-party services
The Service may integrate with third parties (payment providers, OAuth, messaging platforms, etc.). Those services have their own terms and privacy policies; we are not responsible for their practices.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY US DOLLARS (USD $50), EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
11. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law, subject to our prompt notification and reasonable cooperation.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or operational reasons. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitations, indemnity, and dispute terms) will survive termination.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction of our principal place of business, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise. If you are a consumer, you may benefit from mandatory rights in your country of residence.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; we will post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may include additional notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
15. Contact
